Mifepristone

Approved, for something elseMeasured in people, not heightBy mouthSteroidAlso Korlym
A drug that blocks the receptor cortisol works through, approved for adults with Cushing's syndrome who also have diabetes.
A glucocorticoid receptor antagonist. Approved to control hyperglycaemia secondary to hypercortisolism in adults with endogenous Cushing's syndrome who have type 2 diabetes or glucose intolerance and have failed surgery or cannot have it.
Risks. Its label carries the strongest class of warning: it ends a pregnancy, so pregnancy has to be ruled out before it is started and prevented while it is taken. Blocking cortisol can tip someone into adrenal failure, and because the drug leaves cortisol levels high a blood test cannot warn you it is happening.
