Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of growtallest.com and your membership. GrowTallest is run by GROW TALLEST, a sole proprietorship registered in Singapore under UEN 53516970A, at 70 Bayshore Road, #22-12 Costa del Sol, Singapore 469987. You can reach us at growtallest.com@gmail.com. By creating an account or buying a membership, you agree to these terms and to the community rules.

Who can join

You must be 13 or older to create an account or buy a membership. If you're under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to buy one.

The service

GrowTallest is a paid membership: a library of articles about how bones grow in length (the growth plate, and the hormones, signals and genes that control it), pages on the compounds that act on growth, a growth tracker, and the members' Discord server. The height predictor and our public Telegram group are free. Lifetime members also get the Lifetime role, its private lifetime channels, and article requests, as described below.

Not medical advice

Content on GrowTallest is for general educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, and it isn't a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare provider. Talk to a doctor before making decisions about your health, especially around hormones, supplements, or anything involving a child's growth or development.

We do not claim that skeletal height can be increased once growth plates have fused. Where we discuss posture, we're describing recovery of height masked by slouching or spinal compression — not new skeletal growth.

Articles and compound pages describe medicines, supplements and clinical trials to explain what the evidence shows, not to recommend them. Many are prescription drugs studied only in specific conditions, such as achondroplasia in children whose growth plates are still open. None has been shown to increase height once growth plates have fused. Don't take any of them except under the care of a doctor.

The height predictor, and the growth tracker's ranges and predictions, are estimates, not a diagnosis.

Accounts

Your account is for you alone: don't share your login. You're responsible for what happens on your account, unless it happens without your permission and you weren't careless with your login.

To keep accounts personal, locked pages can be open on up to 3 devices at once: opening one on another device signs out the devices used longest ago. If an account opens more than 40 locked pages within 10 minutes, or more than 150 in a day, locked pages pause for an hour. Each locked page you read carries an invisible code linked to your account, and a printed or saved copy shows your email, so a copy shared outside the site can be traced to the account it came from.

Prices and payment

We sell two plans: Monthly, a subscription that renews every month until you cancel, and Lifetime, a single payment. A subscription started on one of the 3- or 6-month plans we used to offer stays on that plan, at its price, until you cancel.

Card purchases are sold and charged by Link (Sold through Link, LLC), Stripe's merchant-of-record service, under Link's Sold Through Link Terms, which apply to card purchases alongside these terms. Card prices on the site are shown before tax: at checkout Link adds any VAT, GST or sales tax due where you live, and it may show the price in your own currency. Link takes your payment and emails your receipts, and your statement shows LINK.COM* (ONELINK.COM* in the UK) followed by our name. We stay responsible for GrowTallest itself, and we email you our own confirmation of what you bought.

By subscribing, you authorise Link to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period at your plan's price, plus any tax, until you cancel. We'll email you at least 14 and no more than 30 days before a change to your plan's price takes effect, with how to cancel.

You can also pay in Bitcoin, buying from us directly. A Bitcoin payment is a single payment and never renews: the monthly plan gives you a month of access from when the payment is confirmed, and paying again adds more time. The amount in bitcoin is held for 30 minutes. A payment that arrives later is valued at the exchange rate when we check it. Access starts once the payment has one confirmation on the Bitcoin network. If less than the amount shown arrives, access starts once the rest does. Bitcoin payments can't be reversed, so check the amount and address before you send. If more than the amount shown arrives, email us and we'll return the excess. If you don't complete a part-payment, email us and we'll return what arrived. Either way we send it to an address you give us, less the network fee.

Lifetime access is a single payment with no renewal. It includes everything Monthly includes, plus article requests and the private lifetime Discord channels. It lasts for as long as GrowTallest runs, and does not expire on a date. If GrowTallest ever closes, we'll email lifetime members at least 60 days before it does, and give each of them a full export of the data we hold about them; lifetime access ends when it closes. If a card payment for Lifetime is refunded in full, or disputed with your card issuer, lifetime access ends; if the dispute is decided in our favour, it comes back.

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time on your account page, on the Cancel or withdraw page, or by emailing us from the address on your account. Cancel before a renewal's charge date to stop that charge. Cancelling stops future renewals: you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. Card subscriptions can also be cancelled in your Link account at link.com.

Payments are non-refundable, including for partial periods, a change of mind, a price rise or a change to GrowTallest, except under the 14-day right below or where the law requires it. For card purchases, Link's refund policy also applies and prevails where it gives you more: you can ask Link for a refund within 60 days of a card payment, on the grounds that policy lists.

Cancelling within 14 days (EU and UK)

If you're a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, Link's terms let you cancel a card purchase within 14 days of when your access starts and get your money back. Ask Link support, giving "cooling off period" as the reason, or email us and we'll arrange it.

Bitcoin purchases are made from us directly. Before we give you a payment address, you ask us to start your access as soon as your payment confirms, and accept that you then lose the 14-day right to cancel the library. The right ends once your access has started and your receipt email has confirmed this in writing; until then you can withdraw. If you bought without giving that agreement, or no receipt reached you, you can withdraw within 14 days of paying. To keep the right, pay by card.

To withdraw from a Bitcoin purchase, use "Withdraw from contract here" on the Cancel or withdraw page while it shows there, or email us. Within 14 days of your withdrawal we'll send back the bitcoin you paid, in full and at our cost, to an address you give us.

That agreement covers only the library. The Discord server, Telegram, article requests and the growth tracker are services, so a consumer in the EU or the UK can still cancel those within 14 days of paying, by emailing us. We'll then end your access to them and send back, the same way, the part of the price that covers them, less the days you had them. You keep the library.

Discord, Telegram and article requests

Members can join our Discord server, and link their Telegram account, from their account page. Your roles follow your membership: members get the Member role, and lifetime members also get the Lifetime role and its private lifetime channels. On Telegram, your role shows as a tag beside your name in our group. When your membership ends, those roles and tags are removed, and you may be taken out of the Telegram group. Our public Telegram group is open to anyone for free and isn't part of what you pay for.

You need your own Discord or Telegram account, and must meet that platform's minimum age and follow its terms: Discord asks that you're at least 13, or older where your country sets a higher age, and Telegram that you're at least 18 in the EU, the UK and Australia. Everyone in our Discord server and Telegram groups must follow the community rules. We may remove posts, and remove or ban anyone who breaks these terms or those rules. Being removed from the community doesn't end your access to the library. We may change how the community is run, or move it to another platform, as long as members keep access to a members' community, and we'll tell members by email at least 30 days before a move.

Lifetime members can request any article on a topic GrowTallest covers, in #coaching, one of the private lifetime channels on the Discord server, and we'll add it to the library for every member to read. Every lifetime member can read #coaching, so put nothing private there. Requested articles are written like the rest of the library: they say what the evidence shows, and they aren't about your own case. We won't write one that recommends or doses a drug, or that claims more than the evidence supports, and we don't promise a date. To be fair to every member, we may set reasonable limits on how many articles each member requests.

If you bought Lifetime while it listed 1-to-1 coaching, you can still book sessions in #coaching until the date in the email we send you about this change, at least 30 days after that email. If you bought it while it listed the Q&A, you can ask us questions there until that date. Sessions and answers are general and educational, and they are not medical advice or drug advice: we don't examine, diagnose or treat anyone, and we don't recommend, dose or help anyone get a medicine, hormone, steroid, peptide or other drug, or say how much of a supplement to take. We make no promise of any result, including any change in height, and the "Not medical advice" section above applies in full.

Acceptable use

GrowTallest's own content is for your personal use. Please don't scrape, republish, resell or redistribute it, or try to get round the paywall. This doesn't apply to pictures under their own licences (see below).

Intellectual property

GrowTallest's own articles, pages and drawings belong to us. Your membership gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to read them, not ownership or a right to redistribute them.

Some pictures aren't ours. Photographs from Wikimedia Commons, protein images from the RCSB Protein Data Bank and chemical structures from PubChem stay under their own licences, or in the public domain, as the picture credits list for each one. Nothing in these terms, including the personal-use rule above, limits what a picture's own licence or public-domain status lets you do with it.

Ending an account

We may suspend or close an account that shares its login, scrapes or redistributes the library, or seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms or the community rules. We'll tell you why and, unless the breach is serious, give you a chance to put it right first. You can stop using GrowTallest and cancel at any time.

Your rights and our liability

If you're a consumer, you have legal rights that these terms don't take away. In the EU and the UK, for example, what you pay for must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, and services must be provided with reasonable care and skill. If something falls short, or you were charged in error, email us and we'll put it right or, where the law provides, reduce the price or refund you.

Apart from those rights, and as far as the law allows, GrowTallest is provided as it is. We're responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable when you joined, or for business losses: GrowTallest is for personal use. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and, where they allow it, can bring a claim in its courts instead of Singapore's.

Changes

We may change these terms, or how GrowTallest and its community work, to keep up with the law, with the services we rely on (such as Discord, Telegram, Stripe and Link), or with what GrowTallest offers. Apart from price changes, which are covered above, we'll email you at least 30 days before a change that affects you takes effect, saying what is changing and why. If you don't accept it, you can cancel before it takes effect and won't be charged again. A change the law or security needs may take effect sooner; we'll tell you as soon as we can. Email us for a copy of an earlier version of these terms.
