Affiliate terms

These terms apply to everyone accepted into the GrowTallest affiliate program. By applying, you agree to them.

Commission and holding period

You earn 30% of the amount a referred customer pays, excluding tax. This applies to their first payment and to every renewal, for as long as they stay subscribed.

Optionally, you can earn 50% instead. Put “Use code YOURCODE at growtallest.com for 10% off”, with your own code, in the bio of the account you promote from, and tell us where it is from your dashboard. Once we have checked it, payments made from that day on earn 50%. If the line is later taken down, payments made after we notice earn 30% again; what was already earned at 50% stays earned. Affiliates approved before this option existed keep the rate they were approved at.

Commission on a payment becomes payable 30 days after that payment. The holding period covers refunds and card chargebacks, so that commission is only paid on money we expect to keep.

Discount and stacking

Customers who subscribe through your link or code receive 10% off every payment they make, including renewals.

Your code cannot be combined with other discount codes. If another discount available to the customer is larger, the customer receives that one instead. Your commission is still your rate on the amount they pay. During a founding or launch price, your code's discount comes off that price, and your commission is worked out on what the customer actually pays.

Attribution

Your link sets a cookie in the visitor's browser that lasts 30 days. If the visitor subscribes within that period, the sale is credited to you.

Each sale is credited to one affiliate. A code the customer types in at checkout, by card or with Bitcoin, takes priority over any link: if they arrived through another affiliate's link but enter your code, the sale is credited to you, and the other way round. Without a typed code, the most recent affiliate link they clicked receives the sale. Because the link depends on a cookie that can be lost, ask your audience to enter your code at checkout as well.

Once a customer's first payment is credited to you, they stay your customer. Their later payments earn you commission too, whether they renew, change plan or pay the other way, even if they later use another affiliate's link or code. Payments they made before you referred them do not count.

Attribution depends on the visitor's browser keeping the cookie. We cannot credit a sale that carries no referral information.

Payouts and minimum

We pay monthly, the same way your referral paid:

We cover transfer fees and Bitcoin network fees. The two are separate balances and are paid separately.

Each balance is sent automatically once it reaches $25.00 on its own. A smaller balance rolls over to the following month until it reaches that amount.

You do not have to wait. If you want a balance below $25.00 sent early, email us and we will send it at the next payout. The transfer fee comes out of that payment, because on a small balance the fee is a large share of it. On a normal payout at or above the minimum, we cover the fee as usual.

If you leave the program, or the program ends, we pay your remaining balance in full at the next payout, even if it is below the minimum. The exception is an account we closed for breaking the rules, which is covered below.

You must provide payout details in your affiliate dashboard before we can pay you: PayPal or Wise details for commission on card payments, and a Bitcoin address for commission on Bitcoin payments. A balance with no matching details is held until you add them.

Bitcoin payments can't be reversed. You are responsible for giving us an address you control; we are not responsible for commission sent to the address in your dashboard.

Taxes

You are responsible for any tax due on commission you receive, including reporting it to the authorities where you live. We do not withhold tax on your behalf.

Refunds and chargebacks

If a payment is refunded or charged back, the commission on that payment is reversed. If the commission has already been paid to you, the amount is deducted from your next payout.

Rules and what happens if they are broken

As an affiliate you agree to the following.

If you break these rules, we close your affiliate account and do not pay outstanding commission.

Age

You must be 18 years of age or older to join the program.

Changes to the program

We may change the commission rate, the discount, the holding period, the payout minimum or these terms. We will give 30 days' notice by email before a change takes effect.

A change applies to every payment made after it takes effect, including payments from customers you referred before the change. Commission already earned on earlier payments is not affected.

Ending the program

You may leave the program at any time by emailing us. We may end the program, or end your participation in it, with 30 days' notice by email. If we close your account for breaking the rules, that notice does not apply.

When the program ends, commission stops on every payment made after it ends, including payments from customers you referred earlier. Commission already earned is paid as described under payouts.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the courts of Singapore.
