Consumer health data policy

This is our consumer health data policy, as Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar US state laws ask for. The growth tracker is the only part of GrowTallest that collects health data.

• What we collect. What you enter in the tracker: your date of birth, whether to read you against the male or female growth chart, your parents' heights if you give them, each height and weight you log with its date and any note, and any supplements you list with their amounts. All of it comes from you.
• Why. To draw your chart, work out your figures and, if you turn them on, send your reminders. Nothing else.
• Your consent. The tracker saves nothing until you give your explicit consent, by ticking the box before it first saves. We keep when you ticked it and the words you agreed to. What was saved before October 25, 2026, when the tracker began asking, is kept as it is until you agree or erase it, and nothing more is saved until you agree.
• Who handles it. Only the processors that run the tracker for us: Upstash stores it, Vercel runs the site that handles it, and Resend sends your reminders, which carry the date of your last measurement and nothing else from the tracker. We share it with no third party, never sell it, and never use it, or let anyone use it, for advertising.
• Seeing, exporting and deleting it. The tracker shows you everything you have entered. Export CSV downloads your log, and we'll send you a copy of the rest if you ask. Erase everything, under Your data on the tracker, deletes all of it at once, and from any backup within 60 days; so does deleting your account.
• Withdrawing consent. Erasing the tracker withdraws your consent. You can also withdraw it, ask what we hold, or ask us to delete it, by emailing growtallest.com@gmail.com with "Health data" in the subject. We reply within 28 days. If we turn a request down, you can appeal by replying, and we'll answer the appeal within 45 days.
