Growth hormone with extra tails bolted on so the body clears it more slowly, licensed for children whose own supply is too low.

A long-acting formulation: GH fused to three copies of the C-terminal peptide of hCG's β chain, slowing clearance. The circulating molecule is modified, not plain somatropin. Approved for children aged 3 and over with growth failure from inadequate growth hormone secretion.

FDA label

Risks. No boxed warning, but it carries the whole growth hormone warning set: rising pressure inside the skull, a hip growth plate that can slip, worsening scoliosis, diabetes, a higher cancer risk, and sudden death in children with Prader-Willi syndrome.
