A four-amino-acid peptide sold online as an anti-ageing injection.
A synthetic tetrapeptide designed from the amino-acid composition of a bovine pineal gland extract, sold online as a telomerase activator. It is not the same substance as that extract, which is what most of the widely quoted life-extension work actually used.
Risks. The FDA found no safety data, no evidence it works, and warned it could raise cancer risk.
