Elamipretide

Approved, for something elseMeasured in people, not heightBy injectionPeptide
A prescription injection that stabilises the inner structure of mitochondria. It cannot be taken by mouth, so anything sold as a pill or powder is not this.
A short peptide that binds cardiolipin, the lipid organising the respiratory complexes in the inner mitochondrial membrane, and stabilises that structure. It is not a supplement: it is a prescription injectable and it is not absorbed by mouth, so material sold online under its research name is neither the drug nor usable as one.
Risks. Nearly everyone gets a reaction where it is injected, and serious allergic reactions have been reported.
