Recombinant human TGF-β3, injected into the margins of a wound at the time of wounding and again a day later, developed to reduce scarring. It is the entire human track record of giving a person recombinant TGF-β.
Risks. Never approved and now abandoned. It was only ever given as a couple of injections into a small cut, so nothing is known about taking it repeatedly.
